DRIVERS WANTED

Full-time driver and part time positions with Big Dog Delivery delivering Amazon packages. Drivers will work 10-hour shifts on 2, 3 or 4 day a week schedule. Compensation starts at $18.25 per hour. For full time drivers, benefits include paid time off, access to medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement. Top performers also earn bonuses for rescues and Step Van routes.

Job Requirements 

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 
• Ability to operate and navigate a commercial cargo van.
• Ability to lift parcels up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate and comprehend a GPS navigation device.
• Capable of carrying packages up and down stairs

General Responsibilities

• Safety is primary in importance, both on and off the road.
• Although Amazon customer contact is rare, must be positive and a professional with customer and general public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail, and business locations.
• Follow up on customer requests or problems with solution-oriented approach keeping customer informed of delivery progress.
• Use latest technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve problems.
• Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet customer requirements.
• Delivery vehicle will be clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times.
• May assist in training other team members.
• Where appropriate, carry out in delivery station activities including package sortin and general tasks.

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time

Compensation: $18.25 - $21.00 / hour
